I am a photographer living in the second city known as Chicago - Chi Town. I live in the beautiful historic neighborhood of Wicker Park. I work hard and travel as much as I can and take as many photos as time allows in locations all over the world. My photos are unique in the images they capture, simple in their presence and pure in their vision. My hope is that you can enjoy the work I have created as much as I enjoy the art of photography.
My photography profession all started on White Rock Mountain, Arkansas, with a basic Kodak Easy Share Ex7530 camera and a beautiful sunset. As a native Arkansan, the natural environment has always intrigued and inspired me. Wherever I am – whether it is in Arkansas, Chicago, Japan or around the world – I find that the most beautiful photos are the ones that capture something simplistic yet complex, ones that capture the essence of the environment and the culture I am in.
In my photos I try to focus in on the simple things that sort of create an escape from the everyday life creating moods of peace, serenity and simplicity. I do this by drawing out ordinary things from the world that surrounds me. It is in my vision that the peace and inspiration that I feel in the photos I take is conveyed to the outside world.
